NashVegas

I was in Nashville last weekend for business. Of all the cities in this great country, Nashville is one of my all-time favorites. True, I'm not a fan of country music but the great thing is that Nashville has SO much more to offer...including one of the best blues scenes around. The downtown area is always hopping and the community around Vanderbilt's campus is awesome! The best part of the weekend was getting to hang out with VK, a friend of mine from college. He owns a condo on Record Row which is near Vandy's campus. He and his girlfriend were excellent hosts and introduced me to some great Nashville traditions. I've always said, if I could get a job down in Nashville, I'd really consider making the move.

I'm swamped at work now and am not happy about it at all. I'm kinda overwhelmed. I'll get through it but it's going to be a struggle...
